The hosts were really friendly. Set in a gorgeous part of Portugal, this place is in the middle of a nature reserve with superb views across the lagoon. It's especially well located for watersports, whether you're into them already or want to learn. And if not, it's still a perfect spot to relax.

We ended up leaving and finding somewhere else to sleep after a very upsetting experience, with both financial and emotional strain. We'd booked four nights for €600 through Booking.com, but after just the first night we couldn't stay. The house was freezing, the furniture was old and in bad condition, and the beds were uncomfortable and unsettling in their state. A broken glass door was a real accident hazard, which is unacceptable in a place offered to the public. When we raised these issues, the owners were rude, aggressive, and unprofessional. They offered a refund if we didn't post a bad review, but the money never came through. The whole experience, including what happened afterward, was extremely negative. It was unpleasant and disappointing, with what felt like a complete lack of ethics, safety, and professionalism from the owners. I don't recommend this place under any circumstances, and I think future guests should be warned so they don't face the same thing.

A cozy, affordable B&B run by friendly people who are always available. It's only 10 meters from the Aveiro and Murtosa lagoons, with lots to do in the natural park: kitesurfing, sailing, swimming, canoeing, and tracking. There's even a kitesurfing school with knowledgeable, friendly instructors. A fantastic place for nature fans and watersports enthusiasts.
