The rooms are very basic, but the people are nice. The price is hard to beat.

I’d happily stay here again. It’s a humble place, but my room was clean and perfectly fine to live in for a few days at Nazaré beach. Mine had its own bathroom and kitchen. The rustic feel and the patio fit the simple style, though the rooms could use an upgrade. Margarida and João, who run the place, were friendly and available when needed. The private parking is a huge plus in Nazaré, where finding a space is a nightmare, and there was always room for the car. It’s at the far end of town, so there’s a bit of walking to get to the action, but it’s nothing major. The sea is less than 1 km away on foot, so a swim is easy.

The location is unbeatable, with the beach and downtown just five minutes away. The hostess was very good with cleanliness and service, but that seemed to be all the place had going for it. The photos look like they were taken 40 years ago, and the wear and tear is clear now. The apartment listed on Booking.com for four adults didn’t have the promised conditions, including a bathroom of just 1.5 square meters and no hot water at the sink. After paying through the platform, we felt we had no choice but to stay, even though the hostess showed us the place beforehand. It’s very outdated, which is a shame given the great location. And even though we paid through Booking.com, our stay shows up as canceled.

A cozy, peaceful place that reminded us of our grandmother’s house. The rooms were clean and well organized, and there was plenty of space to park. Margarida and her husband Sergio gave us a lovely welcome and were attentive throughout. It’s in a great location, and we’ll definitely come back.
