Hotel Magic - RNET 3505

The rooms are individually styled, cozy, and clean, though on the small side. This is a fun, eclectic hotel with cool design touches throughout, right near the boardwalk and beach. If you want a modern, hip place with a bit of character, this is for you.

We had a nice ocean view from our room. The location is excellent, and the staff are nice. Breakfast was good, though parking is a little tricky.

A fun, hip European style, with a great breakfast and a good location. Parking is off site. The staff walk you through everything you need to know, and it’s good value. There’s also a welcome port. I’d stay again.

Electronics worth about $1,000 were stolen from two rooms during our stay, including ours and another couple’s room. We found that items from one room, including a medical kit and cords, had ended up in the luggage in the other room. The electronics were taken except for two iPads, which I assume were left because they can be tracked. Luggage and belongings had been rummaged through, and key cards were used to enter the rooms. That’s deeply disturbing in a place that should feel secure. When we reported it to the manager, David, we expected some concern or accountability. Instead, he gave us excuses, blamed us for the missing things, wouldn’t listen to our account, and offered no apology or sense of responsibility. The property may look nice, but the staff’s lack of security and integrity overshadowed everything else. I’d urge anyone considering Hotel Magic in Nazaré Portugal to be very careful with valuables and think twice about staying until management shows better accountability and care for guests. Hotel magic where things disappear, stay away.
