Breakfast was generous and tasty, and the house had everything we needed for cooking. It was also handy to have a washing machine. The place is spacious, with a garden, and we had no trouble with wildlife or insects, unlike at other stays. We slept upstairs because the two downstairs bedrooms smelled oddly damp. The lighting circuit downstairs kept tripping, too. And watch your head in the kitchen, the ceiling is really low.

The host was warm and welcoming, with a lovely basket for AirBnB guests. They clearly put effort into making sure you’re comfortable and shared lots of ideas for things to see and do nearby. The house has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a lovely backyard, and all the essentials. The kitchen works fine, though it’s cramped and the ceiling is low, so mind your head. It’s tucked away in a pretty little property in the village beyond Nordeste, with a good view of the sea and the village below. You’re away from everything, but still close to the northeast’s spectacular scenery, roads, and park florestale. High winds can make it noisy, with roof tiles rattling and gusts whistling down the chimney. Blackbirds also like to perch on the roof at 5 am. That comes with the idyllic setting, and it’s still much more peaceful than where you probably came from!

There are plenty of hiking trails close by, so it’s a lovely place to get out in nature. The landlord was very friendly and always around if anything came up. The house has all the basics covered: three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, and a living room. 😀
