The location in the charming, peaceful town of Nordeste is iconic. We slept really well and loved the extra room in our garden-view couple suite, as well as the terrace by the kitchen. It was great to have coffee available and a decent knife for chopping vegetables, which can be a struggle. There was also a little brochure with fun facts about the hostel. Thanks so much!

The village is charming, with lots of lovely places to explore, and our stay was wonderful. The place was clean, and the host was so kind and quick to answer our questions. Highly recommend, you can book with confidence.

A spotless place in a great spot for exploring the island's peaceful northeast. For a moment of calm, sit on the patio with a cup of tea in the morning and listen to the birds.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely, clean guesthouse. The village is so charming, and we really enjoyed eating at Elias. A big thank you to the hosts, who were helpful and quick to respond throughout our visit. Highly recommend it!

The bathroom was usable, but tiny and basic. The door wouldn’t open all the way because the room is so small. The ground floor room felt like a basement, and it was damp. After two nights sleeping there, I caught a cold that stayed with me for the rest of the trip. The hallway also smelled bad and had no ventilation. We heard doors slamming and people coming and going all night. Since the whole building is concrete, conversations and doors closing upstairs sounded as if they were right beside us. I agree with the other complaints about noise and the ground floor rooms. Nordeste doesn’t have many good B&Bs, but I wouldn’t recommend staying here as an alternative.
