The house is full of antiques and artwork, and the location is exceptional. Our host was very kind and accommodating, and parking was available outside the property. Breakfast was delicious, with homemade jams and a homemade Pastel de Nata that was the best I tried in Portugal, after sampling more than ten outlets across the country. We also got helpful directions for a scenic drive to Coimbra.

The garden room at the back was huge and comfortable. During our one-night stay, a wild storm carried on all week, but inside felt warm and welcoming. We sat watching and listening to the rain through the curtains, which was very calming. Great host and location. I didn’t eat much, so at 9€z I probably wouldn’t order breakfast next time.

There’s a quiet feel to the house, with a spacious room, lovely linens, a cozy bed, and a large bathroom. The hosts were wonderful and clearly take pride in their home. Its antiques reflect the many generations of their family who have lived there. Breakfast was great too.

We loved the back garden, a perfect spot to unwind with a glass of wine, and breakfast felt like a real palace breakfast. Every room in the house has its own beautiful character, unlike anything I’ve seen. The hosts are amazing, and the entrance to the village is right outside the front door. I highly recommend staying here and hope to return soon. Thank you!
