Victoria was amazing. We handed almost everything over to her, and she organized it so well that I didn’t have to worry about anything. Our wedding weekend at CMC was so relaxing and fun, and the villas we rented for four nights were superb. We chose this place partly so everyone could stay close together for a few days, and it delivered. The night before the wedding, the pizza party brought everyone together, and our guests couldn’t stop talking about it. The pizza was 10/10! The wedding day ran smoothly and on schedule thanks to Victoria and her team, while still feeling relaxed. The food was amazing, and I could hear every table saying how much they enjoyed it. I honestly couldn’t recommend casa monte cristo enough.

Once we arrived, the team made sure the whole wedding weekend ran smoothly and felt perfect. It’s a weekend we all wish we could do again. The food was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavour at every meal. Steve and the rest of the CMC staff went above and beyond to look after us and our guests, always friendly, attentive, and quick to help. Victoria and her team cared for everyone in our group, from 10 months to 84 years old. Victoria even helped when we needed a medical appointment. The villas were spotless, spacious, and comfortable, and guests have said they felt spoiled. DJ Solutions Algarve kept the dance floor full all night and got lots of praise from our varied crowd. Shout out to James! We hired all of CMC for four days for our wedding celebrations with 57 adults and seven children: pizza welcome party on Thursday, the wedding on Saturday, and a relaxed brunch on Sunday. We gave it four stars rather than five because planning was sometimes challenging. We were a very DIY couple and wanted to personalize and create lots ourselves, which made things trickier. Some venue rules and restrictions seemed to change over time, or maybe we misunderstood them early on, especially after seeing other weddings do certain things. We understand Victoria has since made some adjustments. Some CMC upgrades, like drinks, and some recommended suppliers seemed expensive. Since we were happy to be hands-on, we chose to arrange and create some things ourselves. Victoria was accommodating about letting us do as much as we could, and everything came together beautifully by the wedding weekend. There were stressful moments when things felt uncertain or different from what we hoped, but we know much of that came down to our wish to personalize things and manage costs. I’m sure there’d have been no issue if CMC had handled more of the arrangements. I also wanted to mention Chloe Davies, Make Up, Lucy Fox, Celebrant and Helena (Ever After Visuals), Content Creator. They were incredible too! Helena was the extra bridesmaid I never knew I needed, and her content will help us relive the day for years. Our wedding is still a highlight of conversations with family and friends, and many have called it “the best wedding ever.” For a stunning setting with excellent food and service, this venue delivers beautifully. The meals ended up being one of the things we remember most. Before visiting, a review about the food was what first convinced us to book Casa Monte Cristo. Steve, Victoria’s husband and the chef, more than lived up to it. The welcome party, wedding day and farewell brunch were all full of fresh, flavorful dishes that looked lovely and felt thoughtfully prepared. Guests kept saying it was the best wedding food they’d had, and we agreed. It brought so much joy to the weekend. We held our wedding here on September 19th, with a welcome party on the 18th and brunch on the 20th. All 85 of our friends and family stayed onsite, and the villas gave everyone room to be together while still feeling comfortable. They’re spacious, beautifully designed and carefully kept, with a warmth that pictures don’t quite show. The setting felt like a private oasis in the Algarve, and people are still talking about how special it was. Victoria and her team made the whole week feel easy. From the start, she and her husband were warm, professional and welcoming. Victoria was responsive and accommodating, and handled every detail, question and transition patiently and calmly. We felt looked after throughout. It’s been about two months since we came home, and we still have the post-wedding blues. Casa Monte Cristo gave us a joyful, personal weekend we’ll treasure for years. The place and the team exceeded what we’d imagined, and I can’t recommend it enough for a wedding or special event.

Our guests are still talking about Steve’s food, and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. A special thanks to Wes and Duane, who helped everything run smoothly. Victoria checked in with us, made sure we had no questions and was a reassuring, friendly face on the day. Her help from the first email through the wedding weekend was magical, and the day went so smoothly thanks to her. We got married at CMC in October 2025, and it was the happiest day of our lives. The villas Victoria and Steve offer were incredible. We stayed across four of them, and each had everything we needed, its own pool, and a lovely view that made a perfect wedding backdrop. You can tell they’ve thought of what guests might need for a special stay. We had the time of our lives and will remember the day and weekend forever. If you’re considering Casa Monte Cristo for your wedding, do it. It offered everything we wanted and more. Thank you to everyone who made it so special.
