Vanessa from reception stayed with us through the whole ambulance process and helped keep things calm. She was kind, empathetic, and incredibly supportive, and quickly helped us get an ambulance. We’re very grateful to her for the professional way she handled everything. We’d come specifically for the restaurant buffet. Sadly, my father-in-law fell at the hotel entrance we were meant to use to get to the restaurant. He was badly hurt and bleeding. The hotel is lucky to have someone like Vanessa on the team.

Breakfast had lots to choose from, and the bar was a nice, laid-back spot. Our room was clean, with great firm beds, and everyone was friendly and helpful. We had a super nice stay and would come back.

Parking was the only tricky part. There’s limited space outside the hotel, though there’s plenty within a five-minute walk. The hotel itself is right by the main entrance to Obidos old town, with helpful, polite staff and good breakfast options. I’d definitely stay again.

A great find for us two Aussies in our mid-60s, road tripping in early December. The breakfast was huge, the room spotless, and the staff spoke English. We also got parking, which was a bonus. Right by the old town walls, and at this price just book it, don’t go anywhere else.

The room was large and perfectly satisfactory, and the location made it an easy walk into the old town. I had a great stay.
