The receptionist was lovely and very helpful, and the desk stays open around the clock. The location is great, about a 10-minute walk from the castle, and the pool is open from 9am to 9pm. Breakfast is included, and there’s an elevator. The room itself is small and dated, but fine for a quick stop. The mattress is thin, though there are plenty of pillows.

The rooms are cosy, and it’s only a few minutes’ walk from the historic village, where you can park and unwind. The view of the village is limited, but you do get a nice look over the valley. Breakfast was decent, and the food was nice, though I wasn’t keen on the coffee machine. The place itself is perfect.

The service was great, the rooms very comfortable, and breakfast was good. It’s a three-star hotel with an excellent spot right by the castle and the cobbled streets of town. Just be aware that the castle isn’t open to visitors now, since it’s a hotel.

The walls are really thin, so if you love your partner, keep things quiet. It’s an old, basic hotel, but a good option for a night, very close to Obidos and with free parking. The pool was cold in mid-September. Breakfast was simple but alright.

Breakfast worked really well: you choose what you want the day before, and it’s made fresh for you in the morning. The hotel has a calm, quiet feel, and it was clean, with rooms that were adequate. It’s an easy walk to Obidos castle and lots of nice little restaurants. What a great find. I’d definitely recommend it.
