The rooms were roomy, quiet, and nicely decorated, and there’s a pleasant pool with seating around it. Breakfast costs extra. It’s a very pleasant hotel, less than a kilometer from the bus station and about two blocks from the train station. Faro is a 15-minute train ride away.
We had excellent guest service from beginning to end. Our studio felt more like a one-bedroom apartment, with clean facilities, great air conditioning, and comfortable beds. The location was just right: right by the bus terminal, a few minutes on foot from the train station, and about ten minutes from the main area and marina. I work in travel and recommend Olhão to people who enjoy a quiet, laid-back city that’s still easy to use as a base for the rest of the Algarve.
A fab place, with a lovely breakfast: fresh fruit, eggs, pastries, and even chocolate cake. Bring goggles for the pool, though, there’s quite a lot of chlorine.
For a short holiday, I couldn’t fault this hotel. The rooms were clean, modern, and air-conditioned, and the service was great. The style is simple but nice, and there’s a good pool area for sunbathing. Breakfast was delicious and good value. It’s easy to get to the marina, train station, and Faro airport by Uber. They stored our bags before the flight, so we could enjoy a full day. Highly recommend. It’s budget accommodation that doesn’t feel like it.
