The house was old and uncomfortable, and some beds and mattresses were small and in very poor condition. There was stone paving all around the house and at the pool, and it was extremely uneven. The upstairs bedrooms were reached by steep stairs. Bayonets on the wall were within reach of children around 10 years old, and the garden had several sharp iron objects scattered around. The swing was in terrible shape and hadn't been maintained. We were four couples with small children, and all of us agreed the house didn't meet basic safety needs for our families. We had to look for somewhere else to stay. We're experienced travelers, and this was probably the worst place we've booked. We don't recommend it, especially for families with kids. Stay away. The professional photos are deceptive. It's an old, modest house that seems to lack some maintenance, with low-comfort furniture. The area around the house and pool is dangerous for small children.

The garden was under construction, but we could still enjoy the sunshine on the balcony and in our room, which had a large sitting area and great sun exposure. We had a lovely family weekend. The excellent hosts brought a very good breakfast to our room. I'd like to return once the work is finished.

A lovely pool for cooling off on hot summer days, and a peaceful village where you can safely go for walks. The house has so many charming little corners and a beauty all its own. Definitely somewhere I'd return to!

We had high hopes, but they were completely let down. The photos are highly misleading, giving the impression of a pleasant, safe place. In reality it was a nightmare, especially for families with children. Definitely somewhere to avoid!
