The photos really don't capture how beautiful the setting is. We stayed in the little blue and white house, which was perfect for two and had everything we needed, plus more, for a fantastic holiday. We'll definitely be back. 😁😁😁
We had an amazing stay. Nearby supermarkets are large, so cooking for yourselves is an option. For a meal out, I'd order directly from the Castro de Cola restaurant, since the local places don't offer any nice meals.
The people made the stay feel like home: Alexandra, Paulo, Lobsang, and Maria were wonderful. I had such a lovely time in this little corner of Alentejo. The garden and pool area are beautiful and well laid out, with plenty of shade from the July sun. The pool was clean and well cared for. My room was comfortable, with everything I needed, a good mattress, lots of pillows, and even a long cuddle pillow. The kitchen was well equipped enough that I cooked there and didn't need to leave the property for four days. For a lazy retreat, you can drift from a beach bed to a hammock and back again. I'm definitely coming back. 🫶
A wonderfully quiet and peaceful getaway. The place is beautiful and well made, and the service is top notch.
