The breakfast was simple, but there was enough to make a sandwich and have some yogurt. What made our stay unforgettable was the building itself, dating back to the 11th century. The owner welcomed us so warmly and went out of his way to make sure we had a great time, even surprising us with a lovely anniversary gesture. It felt like a little piece of heaven. If you're after a stay that feels truly different, I’d highly recommend it.

The owners told us about the history of the buildings, which have been passed down through their family for five generations, and they keep the place in wonderful shape. Everything was clean and peaceful, with a huge backyard where you can just unwind. Staying here felt like stepping into another century, absolutely magical. I felt like a baron! We’ll definitely return. Keep up the good work!

We warmed our apartment with the wood-burning fireplace during our January stay of several days. It was extremely clean, and one of the most memorable stops on our 12-week trip. The owner was wonderful, and we loved the dogs. I wish we could go back!

The fun, warm host gives you a tour of a 900-year-old monastery and a “new” house that's 200 years old. Loved the whole experience. If you need a fancy hotel where everything is perfect, this probably isn't for you, but for something with loads of character, it's the place.
