Oporto Surf Camp

A friend and I spent a week at this surf camp and had such a good time. The town felt relaxed and not too touristy, and the surf house was cozy. The instructors were patient and gave useful tips, and we met some cool people too. Just a special week 🌊

The staff made me feel like part of the family, and the week was very well organized. I had a great time surfing, with incredible waves and instructors. After three years of surfing, this is the week I think I improved the most.

Emma and Jay were great instructors. They helped us learn quickly and catch waves, while making sure beginners, quick learners, and people who already surfed could all improve. The guests came from all sorts of backgrounds, and it was easy to connect and make friends. The camp was clean, organized, and had what I needed for a good surf trip. Everyone was fun to be around, and the team created a comfortable, welcoming group atmosphere. I loved my stay at Oporto Surf Camp. A friend recommended it and definitely hadn’t oversold it. I’d absolutely recommend the camp too, and will be back 🫶🏼✨

I couldn’t stay away, so I booked another week just a few weeks after our trip. The camp was relaxed, well run, and had a lovely family feel. You meet great people and make new friends, hopefully for life, while the instructors keep pushing you to improve and go from turtle to sardine! 🐢➡️🐟 I’ve already recommended it to friends, and I’m looking forward to coming back and becoming an even better sardine.
