Wolley - Peniche GuestHouse

The host was really friendly, and I loved the shared kitchen and living room. We sometimes ran into other guests, the host, or a very cute cat there. We came to Péniche for surfing and stayed four nights. The room was small, but clean and comfortable. I liked this guest house.

I really liked having a desk and my own bathroom in a room that was both stylish and practical. I stayed here twice, about two weeks each time, for holidays and remote work, and both stays were fantastic. Simão is a committed, friendly host who made me feel welcome and at home. The house is charming and brand new, with good quality throughout and everything kept really clean. There are several spots to sit outside, and the shared kitchen and living room are spacious and tidy. I enjoyed cooking and eating there, and got to know fellow travelers.

The location is strategic, and you have everything you need. I stayed in room No 5 a few times over at least a year, and it was always clean, well prepared, and cosy, just how you'd want a bedroom at home to feel. There’s a terrace to relax on, and a fabulously cosy bed when you want privacy and rest. If you feel like chatting, a few pro surfers, Yo Kikko, Fabrizio and London, are around. Simao and the Wolleys crew are amazing. Simao also has a great sense of wine, so take his advice on that. HIGHLY recommended!

I made some great friends while I was there, and the atmosphere was extraordinary. The host was helpful and really friendly. For me, it’s the best place to stay in Peniche, and I truly recommend giving it a try!
