Kim and Carlos are kind, welcoming hosts, and nothing is too much trouble. The beds were so comfortable that I slept well every night. Breakfast was hearty, and the food at their restaurant was excellent and very good value. I'll book again next year.

We stayed right in the centre of Peniche, and the rooms were cleaned daily. Very kind people and great hospitality 👌

The one thing I'd improve is check-in. The door has phone numbers posted on it and may be locked when you arrive. Coming from another country and not expecting that, we got worried and thought the worst. Luckily, some guests were coming downstairs and we found the door open. Kim reminded us we could call and it would be fine. She explained everything clearly and asked us to get in touch if we had any problems or needed anything. She and Carlos were both excellent hosts, very friendly, and we will definitely return. Kim speaks English, Carlos speaks Portuguese, and Carlos made us a huge, delicious breakfast, so big we had to say we couldn't eat any more. He also kindly explained all the places to visit. The rooms were very good for the price, clean, and cozy.

The rooms are cozy but worn, and both they and the bathroom could use some repairs. Breakfast is very good, though it's served at a bar about 50 meters away. There's a public terrace, and the street can be a bit noisy. The staff are very friendly, but only speak English and Portuguese. When you arrive, the door might be locked, so you may need to contact them by phone.
