We had a lovely time, enjoying the surf lessons with the instructors and the group. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms clean, and the kitchen well equipped. There’s an outdoor terrace that’s great for unwinding, and you can hear the waves as you fall asleep and wake up. You can rent a board and wetsuit on the spot. Thanks for the stay!

Right on the beach, this is a clean, very laid-back place with really stable Wi-Fi, so remote work is possible. The owner and staff are friendly and helpful. Thanks for the time in this beautiful spot, I’ll be back soon.

It’s a clean, pleasant place by the beach, and the owner was very helpful. The accommodation is simple, with no TV, heating, or air conditioning. Nearby there’s a nice bar, a coffee place, and a local bakery. A few minutes’ drive gets you to larger supermarkets, a laundromat, and other shops.

We were among the first guests at the new Oporto Surf Lodge and were still amazed by it. The accommodation is beautiful, with lots of attention to detail, and you feel at home from the first day. The house is by the beach and near some lovely Italian and fish restaurants. You can watch the waves in the morning and even get in an early surf before breakfast. There are lots of nice, nearly empty beaches nearby, which we explored on a guided surf tour with the funniest, nicest guy, Alessandro. In the evening we could use the big barbecue area in our lovely garden, or join the larger surf camp and instructors for dinner at a local restaurant and share the day’s surf stories. Yoga is also an option. I’d recommend Oporto Surf Lodge to anyone who wants to surf and still have a comfortable holiday. The friendly people made this warm place hard to leave.
