The host made our stay feel especially welcoming, always thoughtful and ready to help us feel comfortable. The place itself is quiet and beautiful, with a calming atmosphere that made it easy to leave everyday stress behind. Every detail seemed to invite us to slow down, and the stories of the talented Portuguese artist added something special. We left feeling rested and grateful, already hoping to return. A lovely escape if you need to unwind.

Paula and Fernando make you feel at home so naturally. They’re wonderful people, and the breakfast is generous and varied, with a lovely peaceful view over the Ria de Aveiro. The location is beautifully tucked into a quiet natural area, close to nice beaches and restaurants, with Aveiro and Porto nearby. The rooms are beautifully designed, and it seems like a good place to stay any time of year. Highly recommended.

I stayed three nights at this charming, peaceful boutique lodge and really didn’t want to leave. The design is tasteful and fits beautifully with the quiet countryside around it. One of the owners, Paula, has a background in five-star hotel management. Her partner splits his time between looking after guests and playing drums for one of Portugal’s best-known singers. There’s plenty more to discover about this lovely hideaway. I can’t wait to return, and would gladly recommend it.

At the end of the road, this place is surrounded by nature and quiet, with a beautifully designed house and rooms. They look after you as if you were family. I had the best night’s sleep I’ve ever had away from home. If you’re thinking of going, just do it. It’s definitely worth it! 🪷
