The apartment pool was out of action for some reason, but hotel staff were very helpful and we could use the hotel pool instead. We stayed in a spacious two-bedroom apartment that was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and well equipped. There was some late-night noise now and then from bars across from the apartment, but the bedrooms are at the back, so it didn't disturb our sleep. It might happen more often in high season. The location is right at the end of the strip, with a few bars and restaurants close by and most others about a five-minute walk away. On most mornings there was a fresh market selling fish, meat, and vegetables. It's a great base for relaxing at a slower pace, with Olhao to explore and an 8€ taxi to Faro if you want more to see. I'd definitely recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a high standard of accommodation.

The apartments are comfortable and well appointed, and Olhao is small enough that everything is within easy reach. There is quite a bit of road noise, especially during the morning and evening rush hours. Bars and restaurants on the ground floor add to it, particularly at weekends.

A quiet spot compared with a typical resort, with big modern apartments and a great location. There are great restaurants and very few bars, so it seems great for couples. Unfortunately, there's not a lot for kids.

The people here are so kind and welcoming, and the breakfast is just perfect. They even take special dietary needs into account, like lactose intolerance or vegan food.

We were nervous about taking the kids on holiday for the first time, but the area felt safe and secure. They loved the rooftop pool, which is small and no more than 1.2 metres deep, just as pictured. It was quiet up there, with lovely views, plenty of loungers, showers and a washroom, and it was well cared for. Our apartment was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The marina is right outside, with restaurants and nice walks nearby, and the island ferries leave just across the road. There’s a supermarket about a 10-minute walk away, and Lidl is close too. The staff were brilliant. Whenever we needed something, they sorted it straight away. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant on our first night and were treated so well, with a lovely table on the terrace. A great start to the holiday. We’ve had a fabulous week here. Olhao has been a wonderful trip, and thanks to Real Marina for looking after us so well.
