I had a memorable stay and would recommend the place to anyone. The staff were really nice and quick to respond, the room was very clean, and breakfast was delicious, with fresh juice every day. The surf coaches were professional, friendly, and knew the waves well. They drove us around to find good spots for learning and getting some surf time in.

The instructors were fun and professional, and took time to give personal tips, especially to beginners. The staff were warm and kind, and the place has a welcoming, home-like feel. There's a large shared kitchen, a cozy lounge with instruments and a pool table, plus a pleasant outdoor area. They also put on regular activities and serve a balanced breakfast each morning. I'd definitely go back.

Leaving was hard, and I'm already looking forward to coming back next year. From check-in, Joana was kind, answered all my questions, and was always up for a chat. The surf school and its instructors were knowledgeable, supportive, and fun to be around. I met most of the camp staff, and every one of them helped me feel at home. The location is handy, close to the town center and not too far from the nearest beach. Staff were very friendly and even helped me with a late check-in because of my flight. The dorm rooms were good, with large lockers for luggage; the beds were comfortable, though a bit short if you're over 185 cm. Rooms are cleaned daily, a towel is provided, and the bathrooms and lavatories were very clean. I'd come back to Sagres. A curtain on each bunk for privacy would be nice, but it's a small thing.
