Bruno was great to deal with, and I’d highly recommend his lovely house. I stayed for two days while looking at houses in the area, and it was the perfect place to come back to after a long day. I was sorry to leave so soon. The village has a real charm. On an evening walk, you can hear birds and the soft tinkle of sheep bells in the distance. During the day the old church chimes, which helped me know how much longer I could linger in the courtyard garden before my next appointment. One thing to know: there’s no Wi-Fi, and NOS has no internet coverage in the village, though phone service works okay.

The price for what you get is fantastic. The host also shared plenty of information about nearby sights and gave us a small gift, a lovely sign of their kindness. We really liked the welcoming house and its proximity to many places of tourist interest.

A really welcoming house with impeccable service, and one of the best value stays around. Highly recommended!

This is a quiet, tucked-away place in a village, with everything you need and a garage that can also be used for a barbecue. Do bring your own shower gel, as there wasn’t any. Otherwise, it was very good, with restaurants and places of interest nearby.

A good place to enjoy a few days of rest, with Monsaraz and Alqueva close by. I’d recommend staying here.
