The staff were lovely and welcoming, and the location is handy, with the beach and castle area not too far away. My room was very clean, but the building is old and needs work, especially for soundproofing. Breakfast wasn't anything special either, and could do with fresher products. For somewhere to sleep and shower without expecting anything fancy, it's a good price for what you get.
That was a grim place. I was there on September 7, and the mattress smelled like things you really don't want a mattress to smell like. The toilet seat wouldn't stay up on its own, so it rested against my back when I sat down.
It was okay, not too bad.
