We stayed one night in a tent. The campsite looked quite nice, and there’s a reception and a security guard. The bathrooms were spacious, though rather old, and there was no toilet paper or soap.

We were fine for a single night, and the price was €22 in 2025. We found a spot for our small tent at the end of August, though sites are limited since most of the camping ground is taken up by permanent campers, bungalows or glamping. Our pitch was uneven and had lots of cigarette butts. There are two service blocks with plenty of toilets and showers. They’re dated but cleaned regularly. Bring your own toilet paper, and be aware there are no toilet seats. There are so many cats around that you can’t leave food or scraps out, especially in a tent.

The reception staff were exceptionally kind, helpful and welcoming. The toilets and showers were dated, but clean. There were lots of cute stray cats around, so bring cat food! :-) It’s easy to reach, though in dry weather the last few hundred meters get a bit dusty. The restaurant serves food and drinks at reasonable prices. We didn’t see any sketchy people, and the place felt safe.

There were lots of long-stay campers, and all the unusual gardens and swimming pools made the site look a bit tacky. The glamping tent was comfortable enough for one night, but very pricey for what it was. The sanitary facilities are very old-fashioned and could use an upgrade. The shower doors were so low that having a long shower felt uncomfortable. The road to the campsite is a long, uncomfortable drive, and reception didn’t give us a warm welcome. We felt like we were a burden. The stay didn’t meet our expectations.

The beach within walking distance of the campsite was nice, and getting our money back was the best part of a really unpleasant stay. At first we were turned away, then offered one of the last pitches. While setting up, another family arrived saying they’d booked the same spot, so we had to move to the worst pitch I’ve ever seen, a dusty gravel pit with only about 1.5 m2 of grass. The campsite had little to offer: it was unclean, the sanitary stations were badly laid out, and the ground was too rocky and full of ants for a tent. Construction was going on across the whole campsite until around 7pm. I’d recommend a different campsite.
