The host is thoughtful and really kind. She put together a binder of local places and things to do, so there’s plenty to keep you busy. Porto is also close by and has a lot to offer. We spent a week here in summer, four of us, and had a lovely time. The pool and hot tub were highlights. The house itself is very clean and roomy, with good air conditioning, two kitchens, two bathrooms, three bedrooms and four beds, plus a spacious living room and several good TVs. WiFi was fast, too. There’s a lovely garden with a pool and hot tub, and downstairs there’s a pool table, foosball, a projector and screen, and more. Plenty of parking as well. Just be aware the driveway is narrow and steep, so a small car or confident driving would help.
