The upper deck has a gorgeous view, and the host was very friendly and helpful. Inside, the house is a little dark, but it's clean and comfortable.

The scenery was excellent, with Albufeira da Paradela right behind the house, and the village had a peaceful, traditional feel. The house itself is simple but welcoming. Getting there takes a bit of driving skill. The weather wasn't great while we were there, but we still had a good time and used the last, more springlike day to walk a short trail between the reservoir and the village.

We had breakfast on the terrace with an incredible view, walked in the mountains, and spent the afternoon by the fireplace. It's a very welcoming house with a fabulous view, easy access, and a wonderfully quiet atmosphere. Perfect for taking a break from city life!

The view is the real highlight, and the surroundings are beautiful. Even in November, the renovated house was pleasant, spacious, and comfortable. It was well furnished and had everything we needed for a stay without missing any comforts. The owner and the person in charge of the house were both kind and attentive. We did have a little trouble getting there by car because the village streets are very narrow, though that's what you'd expect in a village like this. It was a very positive stay.
