We had a really bad experience. We arrived as part of an excursion, and the hotel assigned us a room, saying it wasn’t ready yet but would be when we returned. When we got back late at night, it still hadn’t been prepared, and there were no other rooms available. The tour guide, my wife, and I had to clean it and make the beds ourselves. A bad experience.

The staff were friendly, and the massage was actually very nice. Those were the positives. We paid 200 euros for a romantic experience, but it simply wasn’t worth it. Even though the hotel was mostly empty, they put us in a room with no view. The bathroom was in very bad shape, and the bathtub was appalling. The massage was the only reason I gave it two stars.

I had a great experience at palace hotel &spa termas de Vicente. Nice place to visit, good food, rooms, and service, with good management, employees, and manager. I wish everyone there the best of luck, and an early Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. God bless you all. I love Penafiel.
