The reception staff immediately offered to sort things out by moving us to another room, and things went better after we changed rooms. I was still quite disappointed with the cleaning. The first room was in a sorry state and didn't seem properly cleaned. The bedspreads looked as if they hadn't even been shaken out, the decorative cushions had dirt and hair on them, as you can see in the photo, and the furniture was dusty or had something on it. Unfortunately, that made the stay less than positive.

We were made to feel welcome throughout our stay. The rooms are excellent and the price is very affordable. Breakfast was tasty with a good variety. I recommend it and plan to return.

The room was clean and tidy, and breakfast was good. It's well located for getting to the centre of Peniche. For the price, I'd recommend staying here.
