The house has everything you need, including a kitchen, and a lovely terrace for unwinding at the end of the day. It’s in a quiet neighborhood just a few meters from the city center, with an easy 15-minute walk to the beach. We got a warm welcome from the family who manages it, and the one-bedroom apartment can fit a couple and up to three children.
The owners welcomed us with a lovely mix of sweet and savory treats to enjoy during our stay at @Maries. The one-bedroom apartment is nicely decorated, and you can tell care went into the quality. It’s both central and quiet, a great combination for spending a few days in Peniche.
César was a wonderful host. He gave everyone a small gift, the children included, and told us about local points of interest. There are a few toys for the kids, and the very quiet area is ideal for relaxing. The place was spotless, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed for a few days. With children, having a car is best for getting around. It’s centrally located, but some beaches and other points of interest are a bit far away.
César and Ana were incredibly friendly and available whenever needed. The house was well equipped, and the location was excellent. We’d happily come back!
You can see the hosts’ care and good taste as soon as you open the door. What a lovely apartment! We absolutely loved it and recommend coming to see it.
