The best part was how Bruno and Javi managed the place. They put in a lot of effort to make everyone feel comfortable and happy, and they’re helpful and respectful. I had one of my best summers there, meeting kind, fun people from all over, surfing, dancing, having barbecues, catching beautiful sunsets, and watching films on quieter nights. Whether you’re visiting as a guest or volunteering, I’d say go for it.

The volunteers, Giada and Vittoria, keep the house clean and are happy to answer guests’ questions. They really make you feel at home. The guest house is lovely, right in the heart of baleal and a three-minute walk from the beach, close to the best-known surf spots. Highly recommended.

I had a comfortable bed in a shared room, and there’s a great view from the balcony. The guest house is really nice, with a large kitchen, living room, and a spot for wetsuits and surfboards. The bathroom is clean, and there’s always someone around if you have questions.

We really enjoyed staying at Baleal Guest house and will definitely come back for a little city getaway. Everything was clean and well cared for, and the staff were friendly and flexible. Surf spots are walkable, as are surf shops, cafes, restaurants, and the supermarket. Muito obrigada 🙏🙏🙏

Baleal is a lovely mix of relaxation and good vibes, with surfing all around. Baleal Guesthouse is one of my favorite places: the house feels warm and is always full of great people in a good mood. Bruno, the owner, is awesome and makes sure your stay is enjoyable, arranging things to suit your needs.
