We barely slept during the week. The apartments carry every sound, from footsteps to everything else, and even earplugs didn't really help. I've traveled a lot and never had an experience like it. On top of that, our towels and trash weren't taken care of once during the whole week. For us, the price didn't come close to matching what we got. This surf loft was a disaster, I wouldn't stay here again.

The beds were really comfortable, and with the windows we didn't miss having air conditioning. We spent four lovely nights here. From outside, we weren't sure what to expect from a “surf loft,” but inside it was a beautiful loft. The wood, bed, pictures and flowers all worked so well together, someone clearly has a good eye for design. The bathroom was modern and everything was very clean. We'll definitely come back!

The owners run the surf school, but we didn't feel they were especially concerned about their guests' well-being. The basics were lacking too: no cleaning, rubbish collection or fresh towels for the whole week. And the noise was awful. We could hear footsteps, conversations and sounds from the street, so we didn't get one uninterrupted night's sleep all week. I definitely wouldn't recommend it.

Bernardo is the best surf instructor I've ever had, and his lessons really improved my surfing. The loft was very comfortable, with easy parking and a fantastic beach just a few steps away, with no rocks. Great location. Five stars, highly recommended.
