We only booked one night because of our travel plans, and that was a mistake. We should've stayed longer. Our large room was amazing and spotless, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fresh and all-you-can-eat, with a full English or continental selection, plenty of choice, no queues and no rush. Although the hotel isn't right on the coast, you can see the sea from the balcony. There's a large pool and a bar, and the place felt quiet, relaxed and chilled. The staff were very polite and helpful, and both the breakfast and evening buffet were great. The hotel is very good, with large rooms and comfortable beds, but it's in an isolated spot a little outside Peniche and Consolaçao. The indoor spa area, including the pool, sauna and hammam, could use better ventilation. They should also put up a sign on the beach showing the way back to the hotel.

The pool is a nice place to spend the afternoon, and the staff are wonderful. After that, things go downhill. The rooms feel dated, the bed could be more comfortable for a hotel, and there was a sewage smell in the bathroom. The restaurant needs a major overhaul: dinner at the buffet costs around €35 per person, but the food quality is below average.

I was there for a work convention, so I can't say much about the rooms. The hotel had plenty of space and was well located for anyone wanting to get away from the day-to-day bustle. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Lunch at the buffet was a bit lacking, since there were over 300 of us and the service couldn't keep up with demand. I can let that slide, as the event was outside the hotel's main purpose.
