The area is beautiful, and I hope I can come back. I felt safe and won't forget the lesson: when the waves were strong, Bernardo held my board to support me. He was patient, explained things clearly step by step, and even used breathing exercises to help me stand for the first time. The reception staff were very friendly too, and the camp has a lovely atmosphere.

The Peniche area has lots of different breaks, and most wind directions leave some of them offshore. A few spots got busy, especially the point break, where some tourists couldn't duck dive. I had a really good stay at Peniche Surf camp, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

We stood up on the board during our very first lesson, which felt unbelievable since I'd struggled with it before. Jino and Jamie were especially great, and the instructors' support made it a real breakthrough. The personalized lessons are well worth recommending. A lovely place to learn and enjoy surfing! 🤙👌🏄♂️

This is where I first learned to surf, and I had a great time. The laid-back, welcoming atmosphere and handy location for catching waves made it a lovely place to learn. The instructors knew their stuff and were patient, so the lessons were fun. Whether you're a complete beginner or hoping to improve, I'd recommend coming here.
