I spent a peaceful, enjoyable month at Villa Berlenga while staying in Baleal/Peniche. The owner, Sandra, is so kind and welcoming, and the place itself has a charming, cozy feel. I’d highly recommend it for either a short visit or a longer stay.

Sandra was so friendly and attentive to what we needed. She gave us advice and made delicious breakfasts herself. We also got to relax nearby with her dog Shelby, though she can keep him away if you don’t like dogs. The place is very quiet, away from the noise of Peniche centre, but still well situated for exploring the area. There are also plenty of nice dinner options in the next village, Ferrel. Totally recommend it.

This was the most pleasant place we stayed during our three-week trip around Portugal. As soon as we arrived, it felt like home. The House is decorated with care and has a lovely atmosphere. Check-in was no problem, even though we got there earlier than usual, and Sandra made us feel looked after. Just ask her if you need help with anything. The room was a little tight, but sweet, and certainly enough for two people for a few days. You can park outside and pay by car if needed. Try the local restaurants, visit Peniche, and PLEASE take a speedboat trip to the Berlenga Islands to enjoy the Atlantic Ocean. If you go to Peniche or the Berlenga Islands, you HAVE to stay at Sandra's. Thank you, Sandra, muito obrigado! We recommend it 100%.

The property is charming and clean, and very convenient. The staff are extremely efficient, pleasant, and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Highly recommended.
