The shared breakfasts and optional dinners made it easy to get to know the other travelers, and we even ran into some of them a week later on another island. It reminded us how special O Zimbreiro had been. The setting is quiet, the beds are comfortable, and it never felt crowded. We also thought it was very good value. Dinner is offered once or twice a week when at least six people are interested. Anne-Lise and Jérémy have made a lovely home for travelers. It was our favorite place to stay in the Azores, and I’d happily recommend it. Thanks again 😊

We felt at home right away thanks to how warmly the owners welcomed us. The garden is full of lovely flowers, and the swimming pool is great. Make sure to have dinner with them too, it was the best meal I had in the Azores. O Zimbreiro really is a magical place, and I’ll definitely be back!

The rooms are lovely and the view is really nice. Breakfast was homemade and freshly prepared each day. The owners were so warm and friendly. Such a little paradise, I’d absolutely recommend it!

The gardens were full of birds and bunnies wandering around in the morning, and the outdoor areas and swimming pool were beautifully kept. The place feels like a peaceful oasis in the middle of nature, honestly heavenly. Our room was spotlessly clean, lovely, and practical, with a kitchenette. Breakfast was delicious, generous, and made with handmade products. We also had dinner there one night, easily the best meal of our whole holiday, better than any restaurant we tried, like a meal at a Michelin-starred place. But what made it really special were Anne-Lise and Jeremy, such unusually kind people. Thank you both for the wonderful experience. Go, you won't regret it.

The couple who run O Zimbreiro are so sweet and really make an effort to help you feel comfortable. Their cooking is another highlight: when they host dinner, it tastes like a Michelin-star meal, with just the right portions. I’d definitely recommend staying here if you’re heading to Pico and want a pleasant place with a pool and great food.
