LBV House Hotel

The staff were wonderful, and breakfast was very good. The room, though, was quite small, with a glass panel that gave a view between the room and the shower. Getting into town meant a pretty serious uphill hike. Even so, I’d happily stay here again. I thought the hotel was very good overall.

The rooms were clean, the staff friendly, and breakfast was very good. I especially enjoyed the pool and the beautiful, one-of-a-kind view. We’ll probably come back to the same place next time. Great wine, too.

I stopped at LBV House hotel on the way to Zamora and had a great stay. The views over the Duero river and valley are beautiful. It’s about a five-minute drive to the small town, and because the hotel is elevated, you’d normally need transport. There’s a great basement car park with lift access. The pool and bar area have lovely views, and the staff are friendly and helpful. My room was super comfortable, with a good-sized balcony looking over the valley and river Duero. The bathroom was standard, with a shower over the bath. Breakfast had a great selection for different dietary needs. A great stop for motorcyclists riding the N222. Highly recommended, five stars.

The pool has lovely views across the Douro valley, and the hotel itself is in a beautiful spot up the hill in Pinhäo. We drove into town for dinner because walking back up would have been a bit much. It’s a great hotel.
