The rooms were quiet and clean, and we had a nice breakfast. We stayed for one night and were made to feel very welcome. Thanks again for that warm reception. I’d happily go there.

The breakfast was excellent, and the rooms were comfortable and, above all, clean. The owner was incredibly friendly too. I’d highly recommend this hotel.

The host was very friendly, and breakfast was really good, all homemade. Our simple room was comfortable and peaceful, with lovely sheets and a mattress. I did miss having a blanket for anyone who gets cold easily. Still, I’d recommend the stay.

Carlos and Cristina were lovely hosts. The regional products at breakfast were great, especially the orange juice. We spent a weekend in this beautifully restored manor house in Pinhel, right by the city’s historic center. The rooms blend modern comfort and decor with the house’s old character, and the mattress and sheets made for a truly restful sleep. We’ll come back and recommend it to friends passing through Beira Alta.

I was a little uneasy with the door-opening system. In an emergency, it could cause panic, and because I’m claustrophobic I didn’t feel very comfortable. The service and friendliness were five-star, though, and breakfast featured wonderful regional products. Our comfortable room looked out over the castle and garden, right in the center of Pinhel.
