Hotel manager Helena made my birthday especially memorable with a thoughtful birthday wish. It made me feel valued and brought extra warmth to my visit. Everyone was welcoming, from reception through the bar and restaurant, and the staff made the hotel feel like a home away from home. I really appreciated the comfort, care, and excellent service, and the delicious breakfast each morning was a highlight. My heartfelt thanks to everyone for such a wonderful stay. I hope to return soon and will happily recommend Hotel Vila Nova to friends and family.

The staff are friendly, and English is widely spoken. The hotel is clean, though it looks a bit tired and I think the rooms need renovating. It's very central. Parking behind the hotel costs 5 EU per day. Street parking is also available at 0.60 EU an hour from 8 am to 7 pm, and free overnight. I'd skip the 15 EU per person hotel breakfast, since there are much better breakfast places within walking distance.

The hotel was clean and had a pleasant atmosphere, but I slept badly because the mattress was so worn. The attitude of the breakfast staff also made me uncomfortable and got my day off to a negative start. Professional staff matter at any hotel. Parking costs €5 a day.

We had a lovely stay on 30 June 2025, especially thanks to the reception staff, Milton and Veronica. From the minute we arrived, their kindness and friendly, professional welcome made us feel at home. They made a real difference to our visit, and we're grateful for their wonderful hospitality.

I spent seven nights at Vila Nova in Ponta Delgada. The location worked really well, close to both the city center and the airport. The cleaning, reception, and bar teams were all very friendly and helpful. My room was clean and had everything I needed, and breakfast had a wide selection. I'd definitely recommend it.
