Canadiano - Urban Nature Hotel

The staff were excellent, very polite, and happy to suggest things to see and do or places to eat. Rooms are a decent size and daily housekeeping kept ours spotless. The location is handy, with many restaurants an easy walk away, and downtown or a huge mall about ten minutes on foot. Breakfast each day was great, with fresh fruit and baked goods, hot food, two juices, coffee, and tea. There's also a fantastic bakery right next door.

Nothing fancy, but it had everything I needed. Clean, comfortable, and safe, with a good breakfast included and free parking. The room had a kettle for hot drinks, and the central location made it easy to walk around Ponta Delgado.

Andre at the front desk has, through his kindness and professionalism, become our fourth son. He, Sara from housekeeping, and everyone at the Canadiano made us feel so welcome. The people who helped us at check-in and with cleaning were amazing, and breakfast was unbelievably generous. The kitchen and dining staff treated us so kindly, like we were part of a family. We'll be back to the Azores in December and are definitely staying here again. Thanks to all of you!

There’s plenty of free on-site parking, which is a real asset in Ponta Delgada, and we’d consider staying here again. There are lots of good places nearby for food or an evening drink, since we stopped eating at the hotel after the second day of our week-long stay. We had a Junior Suite with a lovely bath, a balcony, and a fantastic bed, possibly the best we had anywhere in the Açores. The room was great, but the service really damaged the experience. The bar was never staffed, room service was mediocre, and the included breakfast was always cold and uninspired. You could pay extra for items from a separate menu, but the breakfast that came with the stay was a big disappointment.
