The room was lovely and the location great. The picnic lunch was super, and breakfast was excellent. If you're arriving by car, check in first before you try to find parking. There is parking, but you need to know where it is.

I loved the food and would happily stay here again if I returned to Ponta Delgada. Breakfast is included each day and comes with pancakes, eggs, several cheeses and meats, cereal, and fresh fruit. It starts later, from 8:00-10:30, so we couldn't eat there every day before heading out, which was a little disappointing because it was so good. This quaint place feels more like a bed and breakfast than a hotel, with only 10 rooms. The location is central to shops and eateries. The room was large and very clean, but the bathroom had hardly any counter space. Since the building is a reconstructed house from the early 1900s, a large bathroom is tricky. A small folding table for getting ready would be useful. The top floor Wi-Fi is spotty, so bring an eSIM downloaded to stay connected. The building isn't disability friendly and requires climbing at least one flight of stairs. The service was wonderful. The front desk worker greeted us, explained how to enter and leave, and showed us the parking lot. It's private, accessed through a garage door, and sometimes that door gets blocked by tight city parking. Still, I thought it was worth 5€ per day.

The staff were super friendly, and breakfast had a good variety. The rooms are spacious and very clean, and it's a pleasant place to stay in Ponta Delgada. My only downside was the noise from the main street right next door. I'm a light sleeper, so getting a full night's rest was hard.

We began our honeymoon at Casa das Palmeiras, and it was a lovely bed and breakfast. The kind, hospitable staff gave us high-quality service and made us feel relaxed, almost at home. The room was comfortable, though the layout had one drawback: there's a triangular section where you can hit your head if you're not careful, which happened to me once or twice. There are no elevators, so expect to carry luggage up a few stairs. Restaurants and bars of good quality are close by in every direction. I'd recommend staying here.
