Right in the middle of it all, with lovely staff and one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had. The place was quiet, modern and comfortable. I’ll stay again!

The bed was comfortable, and the compact, clean room looked onto the street. Earplugs were helpfully provided for nights when the local bistros get too loud, beside the in-room espresso maker. Staff were courteous and helpful. Breakfast had hot items, local sausages, fruit and cheese. Great spot between the Botanical garden downhill and the main plaza uphill, and excellent value.

We only stayed one night, and our clean room had everything we needed. The receptionists were friendly and helpful. The location is a real plus: right in central Ponta Delgada, close to the shore and about 10 minutes from the airport. Breakfast was the one thing I wasn’t fully happy with. The selection seemed limited, especially for vegetarians.

Great location, and the staff were outstanding and helpful. I was really pleased with my stay. The breakfast buffet had a perfect range of choices, and the restaurant is famous, with an amazing lunch and dinner menu.

For the price, this was an amazing hotel. It’s meant to be two stars, but felt closer to three. The room was spacious, the beds really comfortable, and the shower had plenty of room and excellent pressure. The receptionist was very friendly and let us know about free weekend parking, which helped a lot. Breakfast was good, though the orange juice machine often got stuck.
