We’ve had two wonderful stays at Em Canto De Santa Clara in Ponta Delgada, Azores, both almost 2 weeks long. The two-floor house was clean, comfortable, tastefully decorated and well-equipped, with two bathrooms. It’s in Santa Clara of Ponta Delgada, about a 15 minutes walk from the town centre. Dina was an extremely kind and helpful host. She welcomed us with a bottle of good Azorean wine and fresh fruit. Dear Dina, thanks so much for making our stays a wonderful experience! :)

We arrived in the middle of the night, and the welcome was impeccable. The manager had also been very helpful before we got there. I travel a lot, and I don’t often come across accommodation of this quality. The apartment is beautifully maintained, on a quiet, romantic street right by the sea. It has everything you need, including everything for a good breakfast: cheese, bread, ham, jam, sweet bread, juice and water. There were dark towels for the Furnas hot springs, famous for their steaming.
