Lusitano Garden Villas

Breakfast had the basic essentials to get the day started, though nothing particularly stood out. We loved the outdoor area and pool, and our premium room included a private jacuzzi, which felt like a real luxury. We also got to spend time with the horses. They were very gentle, and their caretaker was kind and attentive, a special touch that made the stay memorable. The villas were spacious, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. Everything was spotless, both in the villas and shared areas. Reception welcomed us warmly, and the staff were always helpful and available, making us feel at home. Our stay at Lusitano Garden Villas was excellent from beginning to end. I’d highly recommend it for comfort, peace, and warm hospitality in the Azores, and would happily return.

The pool and steam room were beautiful, and breakfast was tasty with plenty of choice. The bed was comfortable, and it’s a great place to stay even if horse riding isn’t your thing. There are lots of other amenities nearby too. The hotel and grounds had beautiful finishes and decor. I’d definitely stay again.

A stylish, new hotel with great rooms and service. It’s a good base for a 3-4 day island visit, and the rooms work well for a family stay too. Horse riding was a really nice extra treat!

The staff were all friendly and helpful, and spoke excellent English. I hadn’t realized the hotel had horses when I booked, but they’re a nice, distinctive extra. The setting was different from the apartment block I’d imagined, with low buildings among the countryside and horse stables. It’s minutes from the airport and about seven minutes from the town centre. This place was brand new, just two months old when I stayed, and everything was immaculate. Even the cheapest rooms felt more like suites, with lots of space, a separate kitchen, lounge area, and patio with two sun chairs. The design was lovely. The pool looked great, though I didn’t use it, and there’s also a small gym.
