Sky PDL

The place is gorgeous and right in the center, in what used to be the owners' grandparents' home. They’ve turned it into a wonderful residence. I’d never stayed in a dorm hostel before and was amazed by how much I liked it. If dorms aren't for you, they also have private rooms. The beds are comfortable, there are lots of bathrooms, and breakfast is included and really good. There are two terraces, and the staff are friendly and helpful, even booking things for you. An elevator serves all four floors, so you don’t have to haul your bags on the stairs. They offered to make me a breakfast box for my early flight, too. There’s free parking next door @skypdlazores. 10/10!

The room and bathroom were roomy, with a large, comfortable bed, and there’s a small terrace for meals as well as a rooftop. Check-in was easy and the staff were very friendly. The place has recently been renovated, so everything looks new, and it’s right in the heart of Ponta Delgada. Breakfast was good enough to start the day, with bread, croissants, cheese, eggs, orange juice, yogurt and coffee. The selection isn’t huge, but the price was very reasonable. I’d definitely recommend it.

Great location across from the farmers market, so on a weekend you can walk over for fresh fruit. The views are nice, the staff are chill, the AC works, and breakfast is good. No complaints!

The kitchen has everything, even a dishwasher, and breakfast is great. It’s all spotless, beautifully designed, and perfectly located. The terrace on the fourth floor has lovely views, with chairs where you can relax or eat. I even worked there with my coffee and computer, enjoying the view. I could see the sunrise perfectly from my room window. The staff were incredibly friendly and helped me with planning, car rental, and other information I needed during my stay. This hostel is amazing, and I’ll definitely return when I’m back on the island.
