The villa was fine, though a few things inside could have been brought up to standard or repaired. The bigger issue was the house being built right beside it. Work ran from 8 in the morning until 6 in the evening, with dust, constant noise, music, and workers shouting. One worker in particular yelled all day. We couldn't use the pool or outdoor dining space for breakfast or lunch, and it felt like staying on a building site. One afternoon we played a little music by the pool to drown it out, but the workers just got louder and showed no concern for guests trying to relax next door. We could only enjoy the outdoor grill and dining area in the evening. If waking up to a sledgehammer at 8 and construction noise and shouting until 6 sounds like your kind of holiday, this place may suit you. Otherwise, with four workers looking directly over the pool, you may want to stay somewhere else.

Seeing the sea as soon as we woke up was priceless. We loved this dream of a villa, and the whole experience was fantastic.
