The countryside setting is lovely and peaceful. It feels like a charming farmhouse overlooking a pool, a pond, lots of greenery, and the village. The house is beautiful, and breakfast is available. For check-in, though, the lady was at lunch and didn't speak English, so try Spanish or French, or use Google Translate. If you don't have a car, bring back wine and snacks in case you don't want to head out later.

A lovely, quiet location with a pool and good breakfast, though they don't speak English. I did miss having air conditioning. Some rooms have poor shower ventilation, but it wasn't a problem for me personally.

We stayed for four nights at the end of April 2022, travelling as a family with our three children. The rooms were separated and far apart, with access only from outside. We were offered adjoining rooms, but the wood ceiling had just been treated and the smell was so strong that sleeping there was impossible. There were mice in my children's room, and the rooms smelled strongly of smoke. This rural accommodation is run by the Axis group, and it seemed clear that profitability mattered more to them than the customer experience.
