We only got to enjoy this beautiful place for one night, which was my one regret. After we found the entrance, we saw the lovely grounds and our cottage at the back of the property. The hostess was such a sweet, smiling lady. We had home-cooked dinner in the beautiful old dining room, and breakfast was good. When we packed food for our walk, she encouraged us to take more. She also helped arrange a taxi for the two people in our group who were heading to the next destination that way. A real treat on our Camino Portuguese.

The property was wonderful, and our room was more like a little villa. The food was incredibly fresh and delicious, and our host was perfect in every way. Far beyond what we expected. I can't recommend it highly enough.

The city centre is an easy walk away, and the beach and mountains are a 20 minute drive. We loved the house and garden, and the staff were lovely. Thanks!

The accommodation was great and the service good. We had some communication trouble because the owner spoke little English and we knew very little Portuguese 😉, but we managed to understand each other on the important things. Finding the place was a bit tricky, since Google Maps' information didn't match what we found.
