The apartments are lovely, with beaches and restaurants just a short walk away. It’s a peaceful resort with good facilities and an on-site restaurant, and the trip over from Faro airport was a reasonable transfer.

There’s plenty to do by the pool, with a pool table and ping pong nearby, and it was peaceful throughout, without a loud crowd. The pool was much larger than it looked in the photo and kept in good shape, with enough loungers in both sun and shade. Our flat had two bedrooms and two bathrooms, lots of space, comfortable beds, a balcony, and was well equipped. The on-site restaurant by the pool was good value. Beaches and shops are easy to reach on foot, or the taxi costs €4.50. It’s a brilliant place. WiFi and the TV could be better, though we weren’t there for those.

We visited in May 2023 and thought it was very good value. It’s a lovely choice out of season for a restful break, with coastal walking routes all around. The small, pretty cove beach took about 20 minutes to walk to, and eating places were along the road by the supermarket. A small town was roughly a 35-minute walk in either direction. Our two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment looked over the green area of the 5-star hotel. It was self-catering, with a large supermarket five minutes away on foot. The rooms were a good size, and there was a large balcony plus a roof terrace. The pool areas had recently been renovated and the apartment refreshed. There’s quite a lot of brown flooring, tiles, and woodwork, but that’s Portugal. Each apartment also had a parking space built into its design.

Jose, the owner and on-site manager, made us feel very welcome. The accommodation was beautiful, and we could walk to the town centre and a huge supermarket. We’d definitely book again next year 😀
