Vila Aldeamento do Levante

The location was nice, the welcome pleasant, and the roof terrace lovely, but our stay didn’t match the listing or the reviews we’d seen on Google and Airbnb. We booked based on the photos, descriptions and positive comments, and for the price expected a decent standard and an accurate picture of the place. The apartment wasn’t as clean as the Airbnb claim of being “totally clean and disinfected” suggested. There were crumbs, hair and dust, a used dog toy in the private garden, and a box of dirty laundry left outside. Both bathrooms need maintenance: the downstairs shower drips constantly, with a brown towel left underneath to catch the water, which raised hygiene concerns. There was mould in the main bathtub, and the hot water was inconsistent. Several kitchen drawers and cupboard doors wouldn’t close properly, and we found ants when we arrived. The main bedroom bed was extremely noisy and made it hard to sleep. The pool area in the listing showed chairs and loungers, but there weren’t any. It also advertised a dryer, which wasn’t there, and the TV was smaller than described, about the size of a PC monitor. We hope management fixes these problems, but we wouldn’t book again. We want future guests to have a realistic idea of what to expect.

Lovely villas with good equipment and parking in a garage. The pool area was nice, and the view stunning. A beautiful beach is not far away, and Ocean Restaurant is next door. The balcony and rooftop were both very nice, and everything was clean.

The hostess was great and shared lots of helpful details about the place and nearby area. We came off-season and found it quiet, green and sunny, around 2°C during the day. I almost don’t want to say more because I want to come back without spoiling it.

The apartment was very clean and had what we needed for everyday life. The only small drawback for us was the quite outdated bathroom. Everything else was just like the pictures, and the sea view from the roof terrace was breathtaking every time. The complex was clean and well maintained, so we felt comfortable there. Best of all, the bay was just a short walk away, and we spent some lovely hours there.
