Good hotel at a low price.

The location was excellent, just 30 seconds from the center and close to other monuments and attractions. Every staff member was attentive and great to deal with. Whenever I had an issue or needed an explanation, I could simply ask at reception for help. This was easily one of the best accommodation experiences I've had, maybe the best. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Portalegre.

You get the essentials for a good stay, and the accommodation is in good condition. We could have a third person stay without an extra charge. Check-in happens at the neighboring hotel; after that, a digital card or key lets you into the building and room.

The little terrace out back is pleasant, and the place is quiet with the basic hygiene and cleaning products provided. The AL is very central, about a five-minute walk from the city center. It won't suit anyone with mobility difficulties, though, since there is no elevator, only a stone staircase.

The floor could have been cleaner, but the service was top notch and I'd recommend the place. The room is huge, with four very good bunk beds and a very good double bed. The location is also great, just a one-minute walk from the center of Portalegre.
