The only thing that bothered me was a bathroom smell that came and went, though it wasn’t enough to put us off. Otherwise it was great value, in a great location, with brilliant weather. We’re here now, 18th October 26, and the last week has been beautiful and very warm, around 75 to 80 degrees farenheit each day, with a little breeze on the beach. The pool was nice, with lots of sunbeds and plenty of space, and we really enjoyed it. Our apartment was huge and very clean, with a lounge, separate kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom. We were at the end of the building, with side views of the huge beach from the balcony, and excellent sunsets each evening. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, and it’s lovely to walk around. You must visit the Mad Grill restaurants. The steak, lamb chops, and other food were truly excellent. Wi-Fi is free all over the hotel, despite what other reviews said. I can assure you it’s FREE, and the password is given on arrival. Kettles and toasters are provided. You can get an iron or hairdryer from reception, with no charge, I believe. Would I come again? Yes.

There are local shops, but they cost 30 to 50% more than the supermarket 4km away. The place doesn’t seem very welcoming, though it’s basic and has everything you need. Some sea-view rooms are partly hidden from the sea, but the beautiful sandy beach is only a stone throw away.

We’ve already booked our third visit, 14 nights starting May 22nd, 2026. The location is great, and for what we paid, I have no complaints. It’s clean and spacious, with satisfactory facilities for self-catering.

You can enjoy being close to the action without the noise at night, so the location is ideal. The apartments are excellent, very close to the beach and the main strip in Praia Da Rocha. After a meal, it’s a lovely evening walk.

The staff were really helpful, and the apartments are large, spotless, and have views of the beach and Ocean 🌊🪸. The kitchen has everything you need, including cloths, washing liquid, tea towels, and a bonas utility. The TV has English and us channels, and there’s private parking underneath. Would recommend.
